I just received my sway bar bushings and as usual the quality was great. Typical of Flyin Miata. I would like to see a small change in the design. Some day I will need to grease these bushings. I added a grease fitting to my mounting brackets so I will be able to grease the bushing without removing them from the sway bar. From my view, this would add a lot of value to the bushing kit.

My son and I have done a lot of FM mods over the years. Next to the turbo and coilovers, this changed the character of the car in the best possible way. That “floppy noodle” feeling is significantly diminished. Well worth the $$$ and ~5 relatively straightforward hours to install. I should mention that our drivers-side frame rail was substantially damaged; it was smashed to ½ the factory height in 2 areas, but a little (well… a lot) of persuasion was needed. Fantastic product.

What can I say, this along with the downpipe absolutely transformed my car. I am in love all over again. It sounds great, no annoying drone and not so loud it's obnoxious. Then there's the power increase, my butt dyno says about 20hp, doesn't sound like much but percentage-wise its massive. Very impressed with the build quality and thoughful touches like repositioning of O2 sensors, which will make maintenance easier.

My head is safe

I bought my 1991 Miata new and it has moved with me and been registered in five US states. I had previously (1999) upgraded the suspension with Koni shocks and 15x6 Panasport racing wheels but with suspension bushings aging, I needed to find a way to tighten it up. I hhad thought about changing sway bars and finally selected the Flyin Miata bars and end links for both front and rear. Beautiful product that I installed with jack stands. They really made a noticeable improvement in both the straight and of course especially in hard cornering. Some day I might change out control arm bushings, but right now I don’t feel the need given handling improvements with the sway bars. Great instructional videos btw!

Kudos to FM for delivering a turbo kit that is actually accepted by the strict Norwegian system. The Norwegian version of the US DMW has approved the FM Turbo kit for 2l NC.

I took a gamble and ordered the FM Tubo kit as soon as it was available, back in in May 2025, (I actually refreshed every minute to be first in line.) I immediately applied for approval to the Norwegian DMW. After it was 50-stat legal, I re send that information in to the system. I received approval of the documentation 18 of December 2025.

The final approval was made showing the car at a local branch of the Norwegian DMW. I now have the First legal Turbo system for 2l Mazda MX5 NC in Norway, that is approved and stamped in the vehicle documentation, late April 2026, that is cool.

I have earlier tried to approve a Kraftwerk supercharger kit without any luck.
Again, Kudos to FM for delver a turbo kit that is accepted by the strict Norwegian system out of the box, with a very reasonable price tag.

The mounting was a breeze following the Written and Video instructions.
The kit comes with everything needed, I mean everything. Even the double zaptiehs, I wasn’t aware they existed.

Side note:
I have fitted an 8HP50Z Gearbox with TurboLamik TCU and paddle shifts to the car and its stupid fast. This setup is perfect for utilizing the low-end torque that the engine produce with the turbo conversion. Cruising at 120 kmh or 75 mph is about 2500 rpm, and with 8 gears you get a constant push everywhere.
