NA steering column gauge mount

Description
A-pillar guage pods are easy and great for visibility of the gauge, but not everyone likes how visible they are from outside the car or how they can effectively make the A-pillar a bit thicker. Here's another option for that crowd. This mount puts the gauge immediately above the steering column shroud, giving perfect gauge visibility to the driver but making it nearly invisible from outside of the car. Easy installation - remove the shroud, unbolt the clock spring and move it forward slightly, then put it all together. Bear in mind that you'll need to trim or remove the cover panel on top of the steering column shroud.
Please note that a gauge in this location will completely block the warning lights in the middle of the dash, as well as the top portion of the tach and the very bottom of the speedometer (with stock gauge faces). It's not for everyone, but it's a really slick install for those who are okay with the compromises.
This comes in bare aluminum. You can leave it bare or paint it to your preference.

While doing my FM turbo, I installed this for my boost gauge as I'm not a huge fan of the A-pillar mounts or occupying an AC/Heat vent. It's a tidy install, and easy to read. The great part is that I can dim it in concert with my normal gauges thanks to the wiring suggestions in the instructions.
I have the FM boost gauge mounted here. Great location, easily visible, not a big deal to not see the warning lights, and I absolutely loved it until I drove the car at night. The back of the gauge lights give an odd reflection which can be a bit distracting on the gauge cluster when the head lights are illuminated. A piece of tape on the back of the gauge does the trick, but looks a bit bootleg. Some type of opaque cover for the back of the gauge would make this a 5 star product.
