Description
We don't have an ETA for this part right now, as MX5Things has run into some production issues. We'll update the ETA once we have a reliable one, but at this point this will likely be out of stock for a few months.
You're driving a Miata. There's an Expedition behind you. Make sure they know you're stopping! This 3rd brake light flasher is easily installed and fully reversible with a plug-and-play installation.
Two options are available:
1. The accelerometer option's built-in accelerometer (go figure!) will flash only during hard braking, 0.6 G or greater.
2. The flash delay option will flash four times when brakes are activated, but with a timeout of 10sec, it will not flash in stop-and-go traffic.
This listing is for flashers that fit NC PRHT & ND RF cars only. There are other versions available for other applications.
This doesn't currently fit 2024+, but we're working on it

I purchased the 3rd brake light with accelerometer for safety. I figured a car as small as my NC MX-5 needs all the visablity it can get! Since I drive the car I never see the light function but I had a friend drive it while I watched him hit the brakes and it looks amazing. No one would have any excuse for not noticing the extra attention getting 3rd brake light. Gives me peace of mind knowing its is there.
