NA/NB V8 Flyin Miata airflow kit

Description
This is the same OLD Stage 2 fan kit we used to sell for 4-cylinder cars, but with a fan shroud that fits our V8-specific radiator (note that this is NOT the current Stage 2 fan kit, with a brushless fan). This means it won't fit a 4-cylinder crossflow radiator without modification. However, if you're savvy with fab work, it'd be pretty easy to make this work for a 4-cylinder. It'll even work with an upright radiator, although that would require more fab work.
This is on closeout, so all sales are final and we can't accept returns. This is doubly true if you decide to modify it to work with a 4-cylinder.
We`ve spent a lot of time testing cooling systems on our dyno, and this is one of the spinoffs.
We started with a laser-cut aluminum shroud to maximize efficiency of the fans. It ensures that all the air gets pulled through the radiator - and we mounted the shroud far enough away from the radiator to make sure the whole core gets air. Some of the shrouds on the market are far too close to the rad, meaning that only about half of the core gets airflow. We also added some flaps that allow air to bypass the shroud at high speed without affecting the draw of the fans. The shroud is made with threaded inserts to make life easier and comes with spacers to ensure proper standoff from the core.
A pair of Spal fans were chosen not only for their flow, but their ability to pull air through a stack of heat exchangers such as an intercooler and A/C condenser. Most fans are rated for their flow at 0 pressure and their performance drops off rapidly as they have to work harder. Not these! They`re also low-profile for as much clearance as possible. The end result is a compact package that does an excellent job of cooling high-power Miatas.
Our Stage 2 kit pulls 4730 m3/h at 0 pressure, and will fit most V8 Miatas.

As the descrip entails the fab work to make this kit fit like a glove is not very hard at all.
Some nifty Sharpie, drill, and Dremel work made this a breeze to do.
1) Sharpie the corner you need cut out to fit the radiator
2) Drill the inner corner of the drawn outline (this helps with the Dremel work)
3) Dremel out the outline.
4) Bobs your uncle
Everything else is pretty much the same thing as the old Stage 2 kit for the 4-cylinder.
... and I have to say it is night and day difference in terms of the CFM this thing pulls out.
Super happy I went this route, I got a stage 2 kit for half the price and it was well worth it.
I'd say the only downside is the fans are a bit noisy. But in my case my NB is a weekend toy so a bit of NVH don't bother me much.
Lastly the customer support when I was installing this and the crossflow was some of the best. I wish I had this kind of real-person/smart/cool support in all parts of my life.
