A classic Miata performance shock with the best springs on the market! An excellent performance upgrade, especially for cars with worn stock shocks. Includes a set of four springs and shocks as well as bumpstops.
How much will this kit lower your car? We can't tell you, because Mazda changed the ride height of Miatas over the years. However, if you measure from the center of the wheel to the fender lip, you can compare your car to the final result. It's not a huge drop but once you drive the car you'll appreciate how well it works. The Konis do have the ability for an extra 3/4" of drop below these numbers, although that does come at a cost of suspension travel so we don't recommend it.
A new "no bind" rear spring design allows the popular FM rear mounts to work with Koni shocks. Previously, this was a combination that was not recommended.
A common question is how this setup compares to retrofitting an NB setup to an early car. Well, that's easy: it's better. The FM mounts add a significant amount of extra travel in the rear.
Specifications:
Front springs: 318 lb/in
Rear springs: 233 lb/in
Front ride height: 12.5"
Rear ride height: 13"
Includes four springs and shocks as well as two rear upper shock mounts and new polyurethane bumpstops all around. We recommend you check the condition of your front mounts to see if they have collapsed. This can be done while they're installed.
