2001-05 0.040" Cometic metal head gasket

This Cometic gasket is a multi-layer steel unit, just like stock. It`s 0.040" thick, which gives an extra 0.008" of head/block spacing. This will lower your compression slightly (a 9:1 will drop to 8.85:1), but will also give more clearance if your pistons are sitting slightly proud of the block.

0.5mm larger bore than the stock gasket, so it`s compatible with our 85mm high compression pistons or the 84.5mm 9:1 stroker kits.

This gasket is designed after the 2001-05 factory part.
