You only contact your car in a few places - the steering wheel, the seat, the pedals and the shifter. Changing any of these can have a surprising effect on how your car feels. As one of your only points of contact with the car, you want your shift knob to feel good.
All of the knobs below fit all manual transmission Miatas along with most other cars that use a 10x1.25 thread on the shifter.
