Description

Kōgeki means "attack" in Japanese - seemed appropriate since these are intended for attacking your favorite corners, whether they're on a track or your favorite backroad.

These flow formed wheels are exclusive to Flyin' Miata and built for us by a major wheel manufacturer. They're high-pressure cast for less porosity, then the rim is spun-forged. They were designed specifically for the NA/NB Miata and have loads of clearance for your big brake kit - all FM and stock brake setups - and the perfect fit under the fenders. Because we know they'll be used hard, they're rated for 550kg (1213 lbs) of load instead of the more standard 500 kg (using J2530 JWL standards). They also have knurling to prevent tire slip.

And seriously, just look at them. Yummy.

These are a great option for "normal" tires, and they're very light. +23 offset for brake clearance and a wider stance without being ridiculous. 195/50R15 and 205/50R15 are our preferred sizes for these - the 195 is a stock size and will fit with no issues, but the 205 is just a bit oversize. It could fit as-is, depending on the specifics of your setup, but it's possible that you'll need to roll the fenders a little, thanks to the "wide tire / narrow rim" equation plus the more aggressive offset. It shouldn't be much of a roll, but if any kind of fender roll is a deal-breaker, please plan to use 195s with these wheels. Obviously, the use of wheel spacers will affect this fitment. The wheel has a stupendous amount of brake clearance, which you can check for yourself using our printable template.

Centering rings aren't required, as the wheel will center on the taper of the lug nuts, but centering rings do make installation a tick easier.

You can use stock lug nuts and chrome sockets, but it's close - 21mm impact sockets probably won't clear, 19mm impact sockets (as used with our 19mm lug nuts) probably will, but be careful. Chrome 19mm sockets should have plenty of room.

If you choose to upgrade your wheel studs (recommended if spacers are used or if the car will see extreme use), the 1990-93 NA6 uses 0.507" studs on all four corners. Other NAs and NBs use 0.579" on the rear and 0.507" on the front.

Note that wheels are sold individually, so make sure you order 4.

Specifications:

11.7 lbs, +23 offset, 67.1 mm hub bore

We recommend that any wheel used on the track be inspected regularly for cracks and fatigue as part of proper maintenance.

Great wheels!

These look great and the offset is perfect on my nb2! Went with the 15x7's because as much as I wanted the 15x8's discount tire won't mount 205/50's on them and I wanted their tire warranty. These with 205's are a perfect combo for a daily driver!

Gorgeous wheels - great fitment

Purchased these to replace the 16x6.5 stock wheels on my 2003 Shinsen NB. I was really nervous about the offset, as I didn't want too much "poke." I had then mounted up with 205/50/15 Yokohama Flevas, and as soon as I installed them, I knew I made the right choice. The 15x7 sits exactly flush with the body of the car in the back, and the front of the front tire JUST peeks out from behind the bumper cover, and is flush in back. Fitment is perfect. And the deep silver is the prettiest wheel color I've seen. Handling is now better too, due to stickier tires and the slightly wider stance - plus a reduction of about 4 lbs per corner. In short, these are the best wheel you can buy...made even better by the sub-$200 price.

Solid, good-looking wheel

I've had these on my '92 for a few weeks now and I'm loving them. They're light, they're strong, and they look great. A quality product.
