VVT cam cover plate screw

These little countersink screws are used to secure the plate that covers the intake cam bolt on a VVT engine (2001-2005). We've offered them as part of our VVT engine timing belt kits for several years due to the likelihood of losing them or stripping the Torx head during removal.

This bolt replaces Mazda part number 9YAF-00-501, which has been discontinued by Mazda.
