Description
Quality plug wires with a stainless steel spiral wound core. Much higher quality than stock and a limited lifetime warranty.
8.5mm wires have 13% more conductor than 8mm for less voltage drop. Stock wires usually last 20,000-30,000 miles and are possibly the only weak link in the Miata drivetrain. No RF interference. Red in color.
Fits 2001-05 engines including the Mazdaspeed. Since the coils sit directly on two of the plugs, there are only two wires.

Bought a set of these to replace the factory wires on m y 05 MSM.
I don't drive the car much, so when I went to refresh my plugs, I ripped the factory cable apart trying to unplug it from the spark plug.
Although I was able to put the factory wire back together, I wanted to upgrade them to something better and beefier. (Also, red looks nice next to the factory red valve cover) So these Magnecor's were a win-win.
I paired up the wires with FM's recommended NGK ZFR6F-11 with about a 0.030 gap and everything works great.
5-Stars!
I bought these for my 04 MSM. They are more substantial than my OEM wires. They fit great and were easy to install. The car runs smoother as well. Highly recommend.
Everything came as identified, new plugs also, simple application and cleared up the engine misfire.
Could I have spent less on stock or nil wires? Undoubtedly. But if you figure this as a one time purchase in the long run it saves money. Also as a person who is doing most of the “wrenching” myself (BIG projects aside) I don’t mind taking what the shop would get and just installing upgraded parts.
Oh, and between these and the extended reach plugs that p3001 code has been cleared up!
