FM/Koni Stage 2 GTS Coilover Kit for ND Miatas

Now you can have Koni reliability, warranty and quality in a coilover package! The GTS adds a threaded perch to Koni's famous shocks, giving you the ability to set ride height and cornerweight your car. We've paired them with a set of our front and rear sway bars for a very competent street and track car. We'd happily drive these cross-country, run them at a racetrack and drive home.

What sets them apart? Travel. Koni shares our philosophy that travel is critical to both performance and ride quality, and these single-piece shocks do not sacrifice overall travel compared to stock. They offer slightly improved compression travel range as well, allowing for lower ride heights without spending huge amounts of time on the bumpstops.

They're also built like Konis, meaning they're not a fragile race shock that requires frequent rebuilds. They have a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser (US/Canada only). Built in the Netherlands.

Spring rates are 350 lb/in front and 175 lb/in rear and the shocks have adjustable rebound so you can fine-tune the damping to suit your needs. The springs are standard 2.25" diameter so you can change to different rates if needed - the shocks can handle rates up to roughly 700 lb front and 550 rear although we haven't tested these numbers yet.

Our front and rear sway bars cut down on what body roll remains and - surprisingly - improve the ride quality at the same time as they give the shocks more to work against. The sways are adjustable both front and rear so you can fine-tune the handling balance to suit your preferences.

In our testing, we found the ride quality similar or better over the factory Bilsteins despite running a lower ride height. On track, they had a very predictable, neutral feel that made the car very easy to drive. This combo makes the car very sharp on the street, rides better and turns the ND into an athletic sports car.
