Description
Miata driveshafts aren't designed to be rebuildable. Over time, the universal joints will develop a flat spot that can eventually cause vibration problems. Some driveshaft shops claim to be able to replace these joints in stock driveshafts, with varying levels of success.
This is a brand new driveshaft with universal joints that are designed to be easily replaced (part #7260, usually available locally) even at home. Steel construction, made to the same dimensions as stock. Dynamically balanced for smooth running. Unlike other replacement driveshafts, all of these go through a QC process to make sure it's built correctly.
Fits 1994-05 manual transmission and 1994-97 automatic cars. Can also be used as part of a Torsen retrofit on a 1990-93 model.
Includes free ground shipping inside the US.

Amazing product, worked perfectly. Install instructions are clear and precise. The staff was helpful and shipping was fast. Couldn't ask for more!!!
Feels great. Power now feels more direct when I accelerate at any gear. Only issue isworkshop had to shave off parts of the PPF for the yolk to rotate and not hitting the PPF. Is that how it's suppose to be done?
We tried reaching out to Steven about this, but we weren't able to get in touch with him. Shaving the PPF should not be necessary to fit our driveshaft, and we're wondering if the PPF alignment (check our NA/NB clutch kit installation instructions) was performed. Steven, please reach out to us directly so we can help figure out what went wrong. Thanks!
Replaced my oem driveshaft because the oem joints failed in one of the worst ways I've ever seen. I was hesitant to pay the price, but decided to instead of gambling with another used oem driveshaft. After replacing my old one with FM's, I'm glad I did. Turns out I needed a new driveshaft long before my car made blatantly obvious. The car now has less vibration in the drivetrain than when I bought it. Now if I can just track down those darn interior rattles.
Had my u Joints on oem driveshaft go out. Bought this and put it in only drove a couple hundred miles but works as it should and took a decent amount of drivetrain slip out of my car.
