Let customers speak for us
from 3043 reviewsThe ordering process was easy. The followup as far as getting my delivery was excellent. I'm very happy with how the whole process went very wel.
Works great but I did run into a slight hiccup with install but .... Flyin'Miata was right there to help and get me squared away! Great product and great support from Flyin' Miata
Bought this for my NC and immediately after install on the NC decided the ND needed the same treatment. It looks great and feels great. Install was tight but it worked out fine using the included instructions from Cipher. My problem is I did it 2x trying line up the splines to center the wheel. I tried the tape method but must have done something wrong the first time. It was unacceptably crooked. 2nd try and it is now very, very close to straight. Very happy with this purchase.
Everything is provided in this package with the exception of the large shift boot. I purchased it as well as both my boots were ripped. Easy install but a bit of confusion on YouTube about fluid type and amount to use. For the 5 speed transmission the Mazda shop manual states to apply silicone grease to the plastic bushings and to add 80 to 95 cc of 75w-90 GL-4 or GL-5 gear oil to the turret. Also to apply sealant to the gasket surface of the small shift boot that way you don't need to over tighten the 10 mm bolts. The large shift boot can handle a little more torque as those bolts go into metal not aluminum. Shifter feels perfect now.
I got an email from Ethan at FM customer support. He mentioned that removing the gas cap and strap and reposition it would probably fix my issue and it did. Thank you Ethan.
I wanted these wheels for a long time, I have a 2009 NC with two sets of RPF1 for auto x and track, But wanted different wheels for my black2015 GT, these will be shod with conti extreme contact [****] and I cant wait to see them on the car…. Very happy with the quality and finish…
Other that the tax I had to pay the purchase was trouble free and the delivery was quick and hassle free,
Thanks for the service,
I was planning to add the FM new NC coil over, on the NC3 but I will wait for the Canadian currency to gain in value, and for the present economic situation between canada and USA to stabilize itself…

This little thing fits perfectly on the steering column cover (NB). It’s curved on the bottom ever so slightly, which matches the curvature on the column cover. Wiring was very easy following FM’s instructions.
All went well. Spring compression is always a little tricky. Love the new ride. Lowered about an inch. No more bottoming out! Firmer but not objectionable. Much better cornering and less body lean. Love it!
Worth the $$$ made a night and day difference
Since I bought my ND2 miata I been wanting to make my ride sound “more loud”. I looked into different reviews and different sites for different exhausts, that’s when I came across Flyin Miata’s Hush-O-Matic and seen it has the CAN controller. At first, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to install everything myself, however i still made my purchase. As soon as I received the exhaust itself I noticed it being very well polished, with high quality welds. With proper tools like exhaust hanger clamps, the installation itself was fairly easy, me and my younger brother put on the exhaust & CAN controller in about 3ish hours, but im sure it can done faster. The hardest part of the installation was feeding the rubber vacuum hose from exhaust to engine bay. If you have the controller, then other hard part with controller installation is feeding the long red wire from the harness to the solenoid. You have to poke a hole through the rubber where the oem wires feed and it can be tricky. I made a home made punch with a small hook at the end and put the wire around hook & pierced if through, once i was able to see the punch from the engine bay i pulled carefully, but forcefully and the wire fed through. I have little to no experience with wiring, but with the updated version, it’s mainly plug & play, And only needs to connect 2 wires which was simple. My exhaust is running smooth and sounds not too loud but just right, in my opinion it sounds more aggressive and now with the controller I am able adjust the sound back to about the stock exhaust noise, pretty cool stuff FM. The photo below is the comparison compared to the stock.
Just installed this wonderful unit on my mother-in-laws 2004 msm, greater response over the stock unit and spools 700rpm earlier. Highly recommend, just take a your time to install.
Part fit as expected.
I put these on Brembo rotors and they feel completely different from stock...responsive all the way through the "step" of the foot.
Bought 3mm spacers for Enkei 17" ts-5 wheels... Didn't need them.
I'm mostly grateful for the customer service. Nick walked me through bedding the breaks, the theory behind it and advising me on whether my mechanic was doing right by me during the install.
Thank you, Flyin' Miata (& Nick). I'm very grateful.
Excellent kit, no issues
First time rebuilding brakes, and it was an experience. The kit made things easy-ish.
