Slightly cooler than the stock thermostat, but still warm enough that your engine runs at a happy temperature and your heater works. Includes a gasket. Fits all NA and NB engines.

Theromstat works

The thermostat works great but I giving the gasket 4 stars because now i have a small leak from the thermostat housing its more like the coolant is weeping from the gasket even though I have the bolts torque down to their spec . Just need to order a new one and try again . it just sucks i have to drain the coolant a gain just to do this seal once again

We definitely feel your pain on this one. There are many things that can cause a leak, including a bad gasket, nicked / dirty surface, improper fastener torque, etc. To help mitigate these, we often put a thin coat of sealant (we like #80019 from NAPA) on the non-adhesive side of gaskets and rubber (not silicone) hoses to help them seal.

Overcharged for something sold from NAPA

Do not buy this or the gasket / o-ring from here. The thermostat is from NAPA (even comes in the NAPA box) and the associated gasket / o-ring is also available at NAPA. My local NAPA has this exact thermostat for $10, the gasket for $1.29, and the o-ring for $2.99. All either the same price or cheaper and you won’t get charged for shipping.
