Route package protection

We have partnered with Route to bring you optional package protection for your Flyin' Miata shipments. They offer a quick and easy resolution to problems related to lost, damaged or stolen packages at a reasonable cost. Filing a claim takes just seconds and is often approved within minutes. Route will arrange for replacement products for you.

Route is a third party insurance company, so Flyin' Miata is not involved in the process of making a claim.

What if you choose not to add Route package protection?

If you do not opt for Route package protection, you are not covered for stolen packages. Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, even if there is no photo showing delivery, it is your responsibility to secure it. We have found stolen packages to be the most frequent reason for claims, as we put a lot of effort into properly packaging your shipments. Flyin' Miata will be responsible for lost or damaged packages while in the care of the carrier, but since we have to deal with the carrier this can often take quite a while - especially for USPS shipments.
