Refund policy

Products may be returned by the original purchaser up to 31 days after the order shipment date.

Note: we realize the return reasons offered to you may not make sense, but unfortunately we can't edit them.

Method of Refund

Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used to submit payment for the order (credit/debit card, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, gift certificate, etc.). 

If the original payment method is no longer valid, a physical check will be mailed to you, which may require up to two weeks to be processed.  We will verify your preferred shipping address before mailing out a physical check for a refund.

Shipping Costs

Unless a return is accepted due to a manufacturer defect or mistake on Flyin' Miata's part, shipping costs paid for the initial shipment will not be refunded.  Any shipping costs to return the product(s) to FM (not due to defect or FM mistake) are the customer's responsibility.

Any shipping costs Flyin' Miata paid for in the initial shipment - including actual shipping costs for orders shipped using "Free Ground Shipping" options - will be deducted from the total amount refunded for the return.

Restocking Fees

  • No restocking fees for orders shipped back to and received at FM within 14 days of RMA approval
  • 10% restocking fee for orders shipped back to and received at FM between 15-31 days after RMA approval
  • Returns will not be accepted if received after 31 days from RMA approval date, and the RMA will be closed

Refund/Exchange Eligibility

The following products are not eligible for a refund or exchange:

  • After 31 days from the shipped date or after 31 days from RMA approval date
  • Installed/used (including electrical products)
  • Wheels that have had tires mounted - this includes wheels that have not been installed on a vehicle
  • Engine bearings (main, rod, thrust) that have been removed from their original plastic packaging
  • If a returned product arrives in such a condition that it cannot be sold as new
  • Any product that has been discontinued from the FM product catalog since the order was processed and shipped - please note that these items may or may not be marked "discontinued" or "close out" in advance of being discontinued
  • Purchased as "special order" (i.e., a part number with an "S" in front of the number such as "S14-161xx" or designated as "Special Order" in the description of the item)
  • All Flyin' Miata gift certificates (purchased directly or won via giveaway)
