Polyurethane exhaust hanger (NA chassis)
Polyurethane exhaust hanger (NA chassis)

Description
Is your exhaust droopy? Do you have clanks and clunks under your car? The exhaust on your Miata is held up by 4 or 5 rubber hangers - and they're probably as old as your Miata. Make your exhaust all perky again with these polyurethane hangers. They're stiffer than the originals, so your exhaust will stay in place no matter how hard you drive. Great for cars with big exhausts and tight clearances. We think a lot of butterfly braces would fit better with a few of these. 80a durometer.
Sold individually. Factory exhausts use 5 hangers on the 1990-93 models and 4 on the 1994-97. Flyin' Miata exhausts use 4 for all 1990-97 cars. 10 mm holes 1.25" center to center, suitable for 1990-97 Miatas.

B'laster silicone lubricant and an exhaust hanger removal tool used in reverse made this install pretty easy. I combined these hangers with a new Racing Beat exhaust.
I used a floor jack to hold my muffler. The midpipe I just supported with my other hand. The hangers I couldn't fit the tool on, I just twisted and gave a good bit of pressure from the lower part of the hanger. Thankfully these hangers don't have quite as much give as the rubber OEM hangers, so you can use the bottom portion to pull/push it on. Lubricant makes all the difference here.
these have made my exhaust much more sturdy! absolutely does not shake or move at the slightest.
tip: little globs of petroleum jelly will make these go on with minimal effort! highly recommended!!
While a bit of a pain to install, these poly hangers really stiffened up my exhaust. That annoying rattling I heard was gone completely.
ISR exhaust on an NA6
Great product, remedied some rattling on my (quite saggy) stock '93 NA hangers. After reading other reviews I was expecting the install to be quite challenging, but was pleasantly surprised by the (relative) ease of the process-- went from rear to front one-by-one and used a quick clamp and some silicone grease to easy the process. Highly recommend.
I have a Yonaka Cat back and my 30 year old rubber hangers were so droopy the tail pipe was a 1mm from rattling against the right side of the cutout on the bumper.
I picked up 4 (silly mistake missing one of the 5 hangers I actually have) and put the first one just in front of the muffler and immediately the exhaust hung correctly, that's how stiff they are. After the remaining 3 were in (I left the rear most rubber one) the exhaust held firmly in a perfect position.
Simple Green was a great lubricant as suggested, and some cleverly placed quick-grip clamps were essential in getting the hangers installed. I can't imagine how I'd remove them without cutting so be sure you're not doing other work that requires the exhaust out before you put these in.
