Description
For maximum gearbox protection. This is some odd stuff that adheres really well to gear teeth and cushions them against high pressures. This reduces the odds of stripped teeth. It has a film thickness like a 75W140, but the viscosity of an 80W.
For best results, we recommend mixing it 50-50 with Redline MTL or MT-90. Do not use if you have a transmission cooler.

Used a 50/50 blend of the shockproof and the mt-90 in my mazdaspeed miata, it got rid of the grind i had on downshift into third
Loaded 50/50 LWSP and MT-90 when I installed a stage 1 Happy Meal in my NB1 5-speed. Much smoother shifting, no noise or vibration on deceleration, and sublime rev-matching downshifts.
I had been running the Ford stuff before switching and I really can't complain. Its great...I had issues with long distance at hwy speeds in 6th gear...and this with the mtl has helped alleviate that problem. Plus I had paid more to get the Ford stuff locally.
Better than stock fluid, but this and Redline's MTL don't compare to Motorcraft Manual Transmission fluid. That's the best fluid I've used in my Miata so far and has reduced the grinding/notchiness of my transmission more than any other fluid.
