O-Ring is a perfect fit for the aluminum cap Mazda put on the Mazdaspeed BP engines. Was happy to get an old crusty out of there.
didn't know i needed this until i removed the old brittle 35 year old one...thank you flyin miata!!
30 year-old o-ring was rock hard. The cap would bottom out before sealing. Now the cap seals and the oil symbol on the top aligns square with the engine bay.
My old one was hard as rock. This one went in easily.
I had oil appearing around my oil cap and although the o ring appeared fine, the new O-ring was much softer and provided a better seal that eliminated the leak.
