Description
Suction cup radar detector mounts are usually a bit ostentatious, plus they frequently don't work as well as they should. Here's a clean and solid way to mount your radar detector in your ND. Carefully shaped, this piece is a perfect fit for the top of the infotainment screen. It's held in place with (included) double-sided tape, which is also how the detector mounts to the mount. Easy install, fully reversible if need be.
This part is NOT compatible with the wider screen introduced in 2024.

I didn't see, when I ordered it, it was not compatible with the 24-25 . With a little finessing, I put it to use.
I loved the mount, however the mounting tape received was only on the top portion and wasn't strong enough to keep it stable. I used my own 3M mounting tape on the backside and top portion of the mount and that worked perfectly for me, on top of that I opted for velcro like a previous reviewer for mounting the actual radar detector. All in all the part itself is perfect!

Despite there already being a review stating that it doesn't come with enough double-sided tape, to which flyinmiata.com replied that there is enough tape, there isn't enough tape. It only comes with the piece pre-stuck to the top. There is no tape in the underside recess. There is no loose tape in the package to put there yourself. Still worth the money, just go buy some tape, but kind of ridiculous.

This is a great way to mount a radar detector in the ND without sacrificing visibility. Looks sweet af and I have gotten complements on it.
While it comes with some double sided tape on top to mount the detector, there is none to hold it to the car itself and it doesn't clip in so it just kind of laughably flies off whenever you take a corner. Easy solution - buy some more double sided tape, cut some slivers down to size and attach them appropriately.
FYI, there's a recess on the underside for double-sided tape to hold it to the top of the screen surround, and we include enough double-sided tape for that and to hold the detector to the mount.
