Description

The ND's factory alignment range is often a limiting factor when trying to achieve the desired negative camber on a track car. The stock range allows up to approximately -1.5° of camber depending on your other suspension settings (ride height, caster, etc.). These offset camber bushings replace the concentric steel bushings found in the front steering knuckles and shift the range of camber adjustment toward increased negative camber by approximately 2.3°. That means they allow up to -3.8° camber depending on your other suspension settings.

This kit covers both sides of the car by providing two lower bushings, two upper bushings, and matching backing plates for proper installation. All parts are made of stainless steel and include indexing marks to aid in properly aligning the bushing. Be aware that the installation is a bit of a job, as the bushings are a press-fit. You will need to use shop tools such as a press or a ball joint installation tool.

They work

Took to a shop to install, wasn't cheap but much more negative camber now. They maxed it out at -3.9, brought it back to -3.0. Makes such a big difference on track!

Great but challenging to install

Working in a friends garage we managed to only get the top bushing on each side installed due to running out of time and not having the correct tools needed. But with just the top bushing it gave 0.7 deg on each side which was what I needed. Took it out to a local track and immediately felt the difference. Previously the tire wear was hard on the shoulder and with the added camber it evened out.

Perfect!! Got my fronts to -3.5

I am really happy with these offsets. I was concerned on the poly style bushing. These are the ticket. I did have to pay to have them installed though. I do not have a press. Took 2 seconds of my best lap time with out even breaking a sweat. Fronts are now -3.5

Moar Cambarrr!!!!

I decided after my track season this year that I needed more camber adjustment range. I was able to get around -2.5 degrees at my ride height but that wasn't cutting it as tire shoulder wear was still a bit high. Enter the FM camber bushings. Installation took me around 2.5 hours in my garage. (disclaimer: I'm a master automotive tech). The ball joint press I have was too big to work on the bushings and the hydraulic press was at work so I figured I'd give my bench vise a shot and it worked. The lowers were pretty easy, the uppers were a much tighter fit and were hard to get started straight. A real press is definitely the way to go but it is doable without. After installation, a phone based angle gauge shows the camber now between -4 and -5 degrees. This will put me at -3 degrees after alignment with adjustment to spare.

I like FM's design on these. They are similar to others out there but these are cheaper, offer more adjustment range, and they're stainless steel which is a nice touch. I also like them better than the delrin bushings available for the upper arms as those require lubrication and maintenance and there's always a chance they can slip or rotate. The delrin versions can also increase NVH.

Beware that these currently come without any instructions...at all. You are completely on your own so make sure you understand what you are doing and how they need to be oriented when installing or you'll be pressing them back out and doing the job again.

Whoops, looks like you found an error in our new site - sorry! Instructions do exist, they just weren't on the site. We'll get that fixed ASAP.
