Includes a set of our improved MCU bumpstops - that's a $60 value! Only from Flyin' Miata.
The Sport has adjustable rebound damping, allowing it to work well with stock springs and stiffer units. This particular version has three perch heights, which allows you to drop the ride height by as much as 3/4" over the standard position. It also comes with a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser (US/Canada only). They're the last shocks you'll ever need to buy!
Available as a package with Flyin' Miata springs.
Note: The Koni shocks have a 12mm shaft whereas the stock shaft is 10mm. You'll need to drill out the upper mount to accommodate this. It's not a difficult task.

Purchased the NA Miata that was sitting on a set of NB converted suspension which was great for the tracks but too stiff for the streets. With the set of Koni yellows, it’s now perfect for the streets. The stiffness and height is nearly perfect for my preference. Money well spent!
I just installed the Koni Sport shocks with stock springs on my 1991 NA. I set adjustments 1/2 turn off soft and the ride and handling are a major improvement.
I think the next step will be sway bars to sharpen the steering response.
I was riding on bump stops for almost a year now because stock struts were shot. I am glad I upgraded them to Konis Sports because not every bump in the road. I still feel bumps on softest setting, but they are significantly less violent. I tested on curves and that is where you really notice the difference in handling side to side. You definitely feel more in control of your turns and rubber to the road on the roll. I highly recommend these struts for roadsters and once in a while amateur tracking.
Took a bit of work to get the old ones out but worth the hassle. I installed the FM Bump Stops and front & rear sways with adjustable end links. Set the shocks at 3/4 turn from soft. Feels like a different car. Ride is decent as well. Not too bumpy. Very Happy!
This completes my suspension changes to full Koni 2.5 version for my 92. I have had several different versions of suspensions on this car in the ten years that I have had it. This one gets over the Goldilocks' problem. It is just right in all situations. Very well controlled no matter the surface condition so far. Very, very fast, no dramatics, cornering. Set to FM specs.
