The standard plastic Koni adjuster works okay most of the time, but they can strip out if you get a little too enthusiastic. This steel one is impossible to strip and will fit into small spaces where the standard adjuster will not, such as the rear shocks on NCs and NDs. Simple, strong and easy to slip into your pocket or glovebox.
