Description
Now available! We worked with Paco Motorsports to improve the design of these. They're now more stable, stronger and are easier to fit.
Just look at that picture. Doesn't it make you giggle? This is a clever piece of work from Paco Motorsports.
This is a bolt-on lift for NA and NB Miatas. It basically extends your lower shock mounting point. Ride height will increase by 3" in the front and 3.25" in the rear. You can run tires up to 25.5" in diameter on an NA without fender modifications, but the front fascia on the late NB will interfere in this case. The car in the picture is on 215/65-15 tires, which are 26" in diameter and required some light massaging.
Installation is easy and 100% reversible. You will not gain any travel, your car will sit higher with the same amount of compression and droop travel that you have now. Keep in mind that your alignment will change with the increased ride height, and you will be limited in how much negative camber you can obtain. This is not liable to be a problem, as you're not going to want a track alignment when you're set up for gravel roads or dirt. But you should be aware. If you really do need extreme amounts of camber along with a high ride height, you can add our extended lower ball joints and Paco Motorsports adjustable rear upper control arms. But they won't be necessary in most builds.
Installation note: Please be aware that we are exploring the edges of sanity here. You may come across problems with wheel fitment or new and exciting interference problems with different spring/shock assemblies. Be prepared to deal with them. We have learned that some stock wheels (14" daisies and 2001 15" wheels) interfere with stock springs at full droop with this kit. There have also been reports of difficulties installing with stock shocks. You will have to fight against the bushings in the upper mounts to get the shocks to line up at full droop. There could be shock to control arm contact with certain setups at full droop.
Sold as a complete set. Made of powdercoated steel.

We are building a Subaru top and a Miata bottom (mind out of the gutter) on our YouTube channel and this kit is what we needed to get it to "fit" well. I sincerely appreciate the fast processing by FM, thanks for that. The kit itself was a bit cumbersome with the provided hardware but we figured it out.
Don’t use the bolts given on the lower control arms as they are standard and not metric like the nut inside the control arm
This kit should include all metric hardware, this must've been an error. For future reference, if you have issues with our products please reach out, if we make errors we really appreciate the opportunity to fix them.
2001 completely stock with 15" wheels-
Installation was challenging and tested my mental limits on more than one occasion, much improvisation was required, also a mallet and large pry bar. Once they were installed I reconnected the front sway bar links, although I'm not sure they're doing much anymore as they are quite taught, the rear were never reconnected as they wouldn't reach. It also became evident that the 15" stock wheels rub on the suspension, and thus I ordered spacers. While waiting for those to arrive, every morning I would see my miata sitting on jack stands with no wheels, questioning myself, why did I do this? Alas upon their arrival and installation everything went smoother, I was able to mount my 26.5" wheels onto the miata with some cuts to the fender, mainly in the front, but the back needed a little cutting too. All is well now, and the car still drives smooth, honestly probably even smoother if you consider the ride difference from the bigger tires. Personally, I don't find it too scary without the rear sway bar, I'm more scared of my spacers doing something (I don't know what) even though I triple checked that each of them are on right.
Overall- the product does as advertised and if you're the type of person that want's to own a lifted miata, buy this kit and make your dreams come true.
It's also fun in the mud.
Rears drop in quick and easy. Fronts are impossible - shock rubs control arm. Wasted hours and hours trying to make these work.
NOTE FROM FM: As mentioned in the description, we're exploring the outer edges of sanity here. It's very possible for there to be issues that need to be solved (creatively) during installation. It's also important to get the orientation of all of the parts correct, it's possible that's what was going on here. 93NA, please reach out so we can try to help.
I installed the Paco lift kit, wheel spacers, OEM style KYB nitrogen charged shocks and tophats on the first go. Then added the rear adjustable control arms with new rubber bushings. Then put in extended lower ball joints. I did all this in the garage with a few hand tools and a car jack. This car is my daily driver and I had it driveable by the end of each evening I worked on it.
I tossed the sway bars but now regret it. I wish I had kept them and used some extended connectors for them. The car is still very driveable on 27” tires but it gets spooky changing lanes on highways.
If you get this kit you must get the extended lower ball joints. It’s drive-able without them but unsafe. With full length shocks, I needed the adjustable rear upper control arms to prevent binding (your results may vary).
The only issue I’ve had is the tophats don’t seat properly against the frame of the car. I’d give 5 stars if the included a wedge or plate to fix this issue. I think I may have to get some steel sheet and cut my own.
