They look great, but mine faded to a bronze tone over time. Fortunately, they’re on bronze wheels, so kind of a happy accident there. Just be aware that is a possibility. Also, I have one that must not flow very well as it trips the pressure setting on my portable air compressor early. It’s a mild nuisance when airing up tires for autocross. I did strip out a set of the caps due to constant on/off when checking pressures at autocross. All that being said, I did buy another set of for my new street wheels. I’ll see how they do in comparison.
Thanks, Luke! Good to know about the black anodizing changing color - anodizing typically only does that when it gets pretty hot (heavy track/autocross use). These tire valves use standard Schrader valves, so you could swap out the valve with another one from a rubber tire valve, if you have another one handy. If you have any trouble with this, let us know so we can help you out.
Tire valves: made of aluminum. The one star I took off is just because I'm always a little nervous that I will damage the threads on the cap. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. Overall: it's exactly what it says on the box.
