Factory NB fuel filter

Nobody has the oem filter in stock near me. Some of the aftermarket ones have shorter tubing leading to the connectors which can make it hard to remove. Happy to support FM with this purchase as they keep them in stock.

A note that may help others:

I Depressurized the lines on my NB2 and tried to use the caps from this replacement to plug the aftermarket filter as I removed it. Maybe I missed a tip somewhere, but i pulled the connector off the bent side first and no fuel came out of the tubing but it constantly poured out of the old filter even with the cap on (unless i applied direct pressure to the cap). This could have been due to the oem caps from the new filler not tightly fitting on the aftermarket filter i was replacing. Not a huge deal as i had placed a large pile of kitty litter underneath. You may have a cleaner install of you pull the connector on the straight side first. Good Luck!

Perfect fit, no issues. Make sure if you haven't changed the filter in a while you make sure the fuel lines click back into place. You should hear an audible click. I thought mine were on, they weren't, and my garage and house smelled like fuel for the rest of the day.

Mazda OEM part, good price, straightforward replacement. OEM more expensive than generic, but negligible difference for something replaced on a 30,000 schedule.
