Description
You can replace only the part in your clutch hydraulic system that is bad, or you can replace all of it. Or anything in between! Use this kit to replace everything and do it both right and once. This kit includes the master cylinder, slave cylinder, and a stainless braided clutch hose. You'll need brake fluid as well, naturally, you can choose our high-quality (and high-temp) Redline or source your own locally.
The slave cylinder changed in the middle of 1990, so be sure to check the last six digits of your VIN - this one fits 1990 models with a VIN of 111969 or lower. If you have a higher VIN, you'll need the later version. The master cylinder is the same for all 1990-2005 Miatas with the exception of the Mazdaspeed. If you have a Mazdaspeed, choose the MSM version, otherwise, choose the non-MSM version. Note that the MSM master cylinder is a Mazda part whereas the non-MSM is an aftermarket part (that we have faith in), hence the price discrepancy.

Good quality parts. You should offer the kit with the longer braided hose to do away with the hard line & to many connections. I would recommend this kit.
Thanks for the feedback, Robert! Our stainless steel clutch hose doesn't replace the hardline across the top of the firewall because steel hardline tubing is even less likely to expand or fail than even the stainless steel braided line. We choose to keep the hardline across the firewall for the best longevity and reliability.
Perfect fit for the car and looks great. Clutch feels great
I had trouble shifting into reverse, which then turned into a horrible slave leak. If you have the spare cash, I suggest redoing the system. It's not a difficult job and worth doing if it's already going out. Upgrading here isn't that much more than replacing. I never realized how much my rubber lines ballooned. After replacing them with the braided cable, the clutch felt a lot firmer, and shifts came smoother. Definitely happy with the end result. (92 1.6)
Great product.
