One of my top latches didn’t lock anymore. These give a nice satisfying click when it locks and will not unlock without pressing it. Very easy to install, looks great in my red NA, and gives the piece of mind that the top is secure.
These are almost a required item for our older cars. Find a stock latch that is not worn out and you are lucky. These are way better in function and adjustment and appear like they will last a long time.
Just want to help out anyone that may have lost the tiny screw like I did. They are M3 and I replaced them with M3x8 size which are a little longer but will make sure there's good contact without leaving so little threads that the screw falls out.
2005 Mazda Miata windows were leaking. After multiple trips to the local Miata “specialist” I realized they were not going to help. I installed this kit and use Honda Shin-Etsu grease to stop the leaking. This kit was easy to install and closed with a satisfying click. Also recommend buying 2 of the stop lock caps. The red colour looks great. Shipping to Canada is bananas though.
