Description
Gauges are good, but Miatas are small. How to make them fit? Well, if you put a couple on the A-pillar they're nice and visible. This dual gauge pod fits better than any others we've seen.
For 2 1/16" gauges, also known as 2" gauges. Includes push-on fasteners that are more subtle than the usual screws. Double-sided tape would be a nice fastening technique as well but is not included.
Fits 1999-02 cars.

I've had this installed in my Miata for over a year now, and I'm pleased with the results, but it took some finishing to get it where it needed to be. The piece is shipped in glossy black unfinished plastic and does need some sanding/filing to get the gauges to fit tightly. This isn't a big deal, since your gauge sizes may vary.
I wasn't a fan of the shiny black unfinished plastic look, but I was able to use the following products, and now it almost perfectly matches the stock black trim:
- SEM Soap - To clean the plastic.
- SEM PREP - Plastic & Leather Prep (#38353) - To remove any mold release and help the paint adhere.
- SEM Color Coat - Satin Black - 15243 - Finish coat
Also, the product came with a stainless-steel screw, but it was too short for my '99 NB, so I had to source a longer one from the hardware store.
The fitment of this piece suuuuucks. I'd had Autometer pods in the past and they usually fit really well so I'm really surprised by this one. On the driver facing side you can see the edge a lot because it doesnt wrap around. On the windshield side it doesn't even reach all the way to the window...Gap, gaps everywhere
