Description
Includes clutch tool, pilot and release bearings (not shown). Perfect for naturally aspirated cars, slightly stronger than OEM clutch. Not recommended for the Mazdaspeed, we'd suggest our Level 1 instead. Built by Mazda OE manufacturer. Can be used on a 1.6 car if mated with our flywheel.
We strongly recommend replacing seals while you're in there - they don't go bad too often, but it's a big job to get to them! We also strongly recommend using our installation tool with the rear crank seal, to ensure that you don't cause a problem that didn't exist. Plus, the tool is less than a new seal. Also, please be aware that 5-speed transmissions need the transmission input gasket, but 6-speeds do not.

Easy install Excedy, works great. The rear main seal needed replacement too as it was leaking after 154k miles. I also did a shifter rebuild and added the slightly lighter flywheel and braided clutch line. Now the 6 spd is a joy to row.
Seems like high quality except for burrs on the splines that I had to file off. Wish I had test fit it to the input shaft before trying to install the trans. FM was great about adjusting the price to compensate.

I paired this clutch with an ACT ProLite Lightweight flywheel (I know, should've bought FM but it was out of stock) and it all meshed up perfectly...unlike some other brand flywheel that I won't mention...Anyways, hoping to have my car together here soon and I can't wait to have a nice new clutch and lightweight flywheel
