Description
This is an excellent piece that's made in California specifically for us. It's got a nice deep, mellow and refined sound that's a bit louder than stock. The resonator ensures there's no rasp at all. The tip is 3" in diameter with our name laser-etched on top. The whole exhaust is polished stainless steel in 2.25" diameter tubing and carries a lifetime warranty. It's the last exhaust you'll ever buy for your Miata!
Fits all 1990-97 Miatas and comes with all the required gaskets. Great for both naturally aspirated and Stage 1 turbo Miatas. May not be compatible with some trailer hitch designs.

Very happy with this purchase.
Installed in minutes and sounds great!
In my opinion this is the best sounding aftermarket exhaust for the NA Miata I’ve yet heard—there is good tone and not a lot of rasp. Rasp can only be heard pushing 5k rpm. My exhaust looks fantastic and went together easy. Normal scratches and spatter were apparent but nothing bad. The hardware seemed good to me, despite some reviews mentioning bad hardware or quality control issues. It is significantly louder than stock; to me it seems to approach twice as loud as stock anytime your foot is touching the pedal. The only reason I can’t give it five stars is the drone at highway speeds and the exhausts annoyingly poor fitment. It seems a common issue is the exhaust's predisposition to resting too close to the driver's side of the exhaust tip cutout. Some DIY and and fannagling will fix this but for the price of the product and the time this system has been on the market it seems absurd that this issue has not yet been resolved by simple hanger redesign. The droning - it’s not so bad with some music on and the top up, but don't buy this exhaust expecting no drone. Unfortunately, after personally exhausting (ha) so many alternatives, it seems like if you can't handle drone, you'd be best content with a stock setup. This is a great option otherwise!
It is almost impossible to convey sound through relative assertions and ambiguous phrasing. I'll stick some anecdotes here for the volume-conscious consumer to hopefully give some more insight into the sound level one might expect from this exhaust.
1. Girlfriend that doesn't like loud cars says its "not too bad," "alright," and "okay". Phew.
2. Below 4k rpm, if the car is coming towards you, you'll hear the motor before the exhaust.
3. Conversation in the cabin is comfortable with the top down and the windows up up to 45 mph.
4. You will still be able to talk on the phone while driving. Speaker phone, maybe not. Shift with one hand and steer with your knees!
5. You won't feel bad parking in a neighborhood at night as long as you're behaving like any safe driver would in a neighborhood.
As everyone said, easy to install with no issues. It sounds great and better than the stock exhaust. It's the exhaust I think that the car should have come with. Not too loud, but louder and more low notes than the stock. If you want it to wake up the neighbors, this is not your choice.
Just installed this in my 91. Packaging was excellent and arrived without damage. Installation was easy and I appreciate the type of hangars used over stock. Sounds great on initial drive. Nice low rumble while idling and clean, louder than stock engine note driving. Excited to see how it breaks in over the rest of the summer.
Purchased this to replace the loud and rusty exhaust. I was worried that the exhaust remain loud due to car not having a cat or resonator. However, it came out very nice! The tone is loud but not overly loud and it’s perfect within my preference. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth it.
