With a high-power engine, your stock engine mounts (commonly referred to as "motor mounts") have a hard time keeping the engine from moving around under power. Also, factory mounts can crack with as little as 60,000 miles on them. 

These stiffer IL Motorsport competition mounts are made of 40% stiffer rubber, to help keep the engine under control. Shifting will be easier as the transmission will move less - you`ll be less likely to have any missed shifts. There is an increase in noise, vibration and harshness - this doesn't bother some people, but if you drive with the top up most of the time you might want to consider our stock replacement parts instead.

Sold as a pair (enough for one car). Fits all NC Miatas.

Very nice feeling engine mounts

While having a new clutch installed I had these IL Motorsports engine mounts installed. Everything feels great. Between the new clutch and these engine mounts my transmission has never shifted as smoothly as it does now. In fact, the whole car just feels smoother. Its kind of hard to describe. There is a minimal increase in NVH with the top up on my 2008 PRHT. But who drives a Miata with the top up? All in all I highly recommend these engine mounts.
