Description

A set of four V-Maxx primary springs. This will allow you to convert your V-Maxx XXtreme coilovers to a different specification.

The Sport package springs are the ones found on the V-Maxx Classic as well as the XXtreme Sport package coilovers, and have rates of 391 lb/in front and 258 lb/in rear.
The Track Pack springs are the ones found on the XXtreme Track Pack coilovers, and have 505 lb/in front and 336 lb/in rear spring rates.

As with all of our current V-Maxx Sport and Classic coilovers, the Sport front spring is the extended unit that does not require a helper.

The Track Pack springs are not recommended for use with the Classic shocks, as the shocks are not valved for these spring rates.

The springs have a 60mm diameter and may not be compatible with other coilovers.

Please note: the Track Pack springs require helpers in the front and often in the rear. If you are starting with a Classic/Sport setup without front helpers, you may want to order some helpers.

Big improvement with Track Springs

I originally went with Sport springs for my VMaxx Extremes a year ago, but realized on a track day that they needed to be stiffer. The Sports made for a firm but comfortable street ride and sporty around town driving was great. The NB's stiffness is much better with the Track springs now and it's a bit more rugged riding around town but not intolerable. I don't have a track day test yet but am pretty sure I'll be glad I swapped the springs.
