Let customers speak for us
from 3633 reviewsThey work perfectly as expected and they're a great upgrade from the previous bulbs. No flicker, very bright, and a good white balance.
Perfect fit for the early 99-00 NB Miata engine mounts.
When I relocated my washer bottle to behind the cowl, I had to replace all of my lines. I don't think they had been replaced since the car was bought in 91. When I replaced the lines I didn't have any of the check valves, so my washer fluid would siphon out the nozzles from the wind blowing over them. I would get a couple of drives in before I had to refill my washer reservoir. This came with everything needed to replace all of the lines and now I don't have any issues with losing fluid while driving down the highway.
These replaced a pair of first generation bushings. I thought I would try these and I also wanted black ones, the others were red. I have a dark blue car. These fit well but I can’t say if, for me, it made a noticeable difference except they look better. I am a street driver who occasionally throws my mostly stock car, sliding, around a corner but not often.
Since I have had my car we flushed all the fluids and Redline was the replacement. Clutch, Brakes and power steering all on Redline. I also flushed the transmission and the differential and use Redline gear oils in them. A big fan of Redline.
This replaced another LED interior bulb but it was a crazy bight bluish light. It was hard on the eyes at night. This bulb appears about as bright but with the warm color temperature it doesn’t sear your retinas.
Things pedal covers are a nice upgrade. They are high quality and easy to fit, much nicer than the oem one. The flyin’ Miata engraving is nice touch
I'm using the shortest Ram Mount Arm and so for it's holding great and no issues with it coming loose.
They were much better in my hands than I was expecting. Highly recommend these things. Easy to install and protects your car from rocks flying
Made it so much easier th change the oil!
I purchased the 56 lumen warm white version from diode dynamic’s website for my soul crystal red and I think it looks fantastic. Not too yellow, not overly bright. Slightly brighter than stock but still looks classic without looking overly cool.
The product itself is great, I love the look on my charcoal ND2.
The installation was definitely a pain. In particular, I had a heck of a time getting the fronts unscrewed. At least with the rears, I could more easily see the screw. Mazda’s choice to leave next to zero slack on the wiring is truly baffling. Even an extra inch would have made a world of difference. This unscrewing step is, if I recall, only briefly mentioned in their product video and done off camera.
All that said, the install grievances have nothing to do with this product or FM. I’d highly recommend those if you’re willing to persistent during the install.
If you have an ND Miata I'm sorry, but Mazda made this one of the biggest pains in the ass out there! FlyinMiata has some great videos that walk you through it and it's 100% worth it.
I would change ONE thing from their excellent instructions: When you go to put the intermediary pipe back on there's a much easier method. In their video they get the sway bar in place and mounted and then re-attach that pipe. If you slide the bar into place but don't bolt it down, just let it rest on the cross members, you can push it out of the way and line that pipe and bolts up. THEN you bolt the bar down. It's a lot easier that way. With the bar just resting in place you can move it up and away so and get the rear bolt started.
Regardless, once you have the bars installed the car is so much more planted in corners it's not even funny. It might take you hours of wrestling the old bar out but it's so worth it!
The rear bar is so easy I think it took me longer to get the car up on the jack stands than it did to replace the bar!
I have a stock 2000 Miata with A/C. I had a track day in June, it was a warmer day and I noticed that the car was running pretty hot. Throughout the day it got to the point that I either had to slow down to keep it cool or run the heat on full blast, neither of which was desirable. After that day I ordered the cross flow radiator and the coolant reroute kit. Took a little bit to install but it was totally worth it. Do yourself a favor and replace all the coolant hoses right away. I wasn’t planning on it but after taking them off I knew it would only be a matter of time that I would have to take it back apart to replace the hoses I was going to leave in place. I opted to use the stock fans which require you to cut away a fair amount of the fan shroud to make them fit. This was easy with a grinder (for one metal bracket) and a Dremel (for some plastic bits). I would highly recommended this kit if you are overheating at all. I did another track day in July on a much hotter day and had absolutely no problems at all.
