Elvis is one of our best-known cars. Over the years, he's had a number of engines from a high-compression naturally aspirated unit to a big turbo powerplant.
But when we stuffed a Chevy V8 underhood, everyone forgot about that.
Most of the powertrain modifications aren't listed below. It's a fairly extensive list - see the More Information link to see the build.
Elvis was originally built to take part in the Car and Driver Superfour Challenge.
