The Red Rat was our normally aspirated development car. It had a jewel of an engine, wrapped in a scarred and battered body. But that was then. Now, it's our fire-breathing, Porsche-eating racer.

1.8 Kia block with a main bearing girdle, bored out 1.5 mm
prototype FM 2.0 stroker kit (4mm of stroke). Total displacement 1995 cc.
FM IV prototype turbo system with a T3/T04e turbo
Wiseco pistons
Carillo rods
99 head, reworked by Replika Maschinen
95 intake manifold, reworked by Replika
oversize 1990 throttle body
ARP studs for head and main bearings
stock valves, stock cams
AEM adjustable cam gears
modified Richard Murray cooling system

Electronics:
FM ECU, naturally.
Jacobs ignition

Suspension:
custom Ground Control coilover suspension with Advance Design custom shocks
custom SSR wheels, 15x7 with a 21mm offset
10mm spacers on the front, 15mm on the rear
Goodyear race slicks
heim-jointed end links
Powerflex bushings

E-production body
Modifed cowl induction hood

Hard Dog roll cage
Momo race seat
Momo Champion wheel
6-point Willans harnesses
