Flyin` Miata racing gloves
Racing gloves serve two purposes: to help you keep a good grip on the wheel, and to protect you in case things go wrong.
Flyin` Miata`s racing gloves have a suede leather palm and fingers for maximum grip, with a two-layer Nomex knit across the back. The Velcro strap lets you get just the right tightness to keep the glove in place. There`s a bit of padding, but not enough to make it hard to grip the wheel and become tiring or uncomfortable.
All the materials meet FIA 1986 standards, although the gloves themselves don`t have an SFI tag. We found the SFI-rated gloves to be less comfortable, and almost no racing organizations require your gloves to carry an SFI rating.
