Complete 3 inch exhaust system
Go big or go home! For maximum power and spool, we now offer a full 3" exhaust system. When tested on our 266 rwhp 2004 Miata, we saw peak power jump by 16 hp, peak torque by 10 lb-ft and maximum boost showed up 200 rpm sooner when compared to one of our 2.5" systems. Yes, it`s available as an upgrade on all new kits. Naturally, it`s made on a CNC mandrel bender for perfect fit and better flow than a pieced-together version. And as with all of our exhausts, it`s polished stainless steel from end to end.
The sound is deeper, but no louder than our other turbo exhausts. Due to the size and design of these components, the complete exhaust is replaced right from the turbine outlet to the tailpipe. The catalytic converter is a very high flow metal core unit. Compatible with all factory bracing and the butterfly brace. Lifetime warranty on the exhaust, 5 years/50,000 miles on the catalytic converter. Includes all hardware and gaskets.
This complete package replaces the downpipe (compatible with all FM turbos that use the cast or fabricated turbine outlet), midpipe and exhaust with 3" parts. If you have an earlier downpipe and a Garrett turbocharger, simply add the turbine outlet.

FM 2.5" vs FM 3" sound clips
For all 1.8 Miatas fitted with an FM II turbo system, including 1990-93 cars with a 1.8 conversion. For Voodoo and Voodoo II systems, we recommend adding the restrictor kit to help keep boost levels under control. The high flow metallic cat is more likely to cause check engine lights and the rear O2 sensor might have clearance problems, so it`s not recommended for 1996-05 cars that use the stock ECU. Does not fit Mazdaspeed MX-5s that retain the stock turbo. 1999-05 version shown.
