Flyin' Miata : long block configurator

We build a lot of custom engines at Flyin' Miata. We built the engine for Matt Andrews that destroyed the competition in Redline Time Attack. Our engines have taken podiums at the SCCA SOLO II Nationals and have been raced in a wide range of competitions. But they're not just for racing - they're built to deal with the rigors of daily use.
Every engine is built to spec. You can use this configurator or call us to come up with the perfect engine for your use. If you have particular needs such as a strong, legal stock engine for stock class racing, we do that for you.

This is our fully built engine package. We start by stripping down the engine and having everything jet-cleaned.

The bottom end is given A beam Carrillo rods, FM's ceramic coated strutted Wiseco pistons, ARP main studs and an ATi damper. The head gets upgraded valve springs and a multi-angle valve job, then it's bolted to the block with a multi-layer steel head gasket using ARP head studs. There are other options available, shown below.

As a final touch, we powdercoat the valve cover and install a brass plate with your name and the name of your engine builder.
